The history of Elite Sports Performance.

ESP opened its doors in January of 2009 under the visionary leadership of Mark Dalesandro, Macey Brooks and Tadd Gibson. The journey began in the 2050 Mitchell Drive Building just off Rt 30 in Oswego. The 25,000 sq ft facility became a hot spot in the community for youth sports and training. Within a few short months, the overwhelming response from the community required the ownership team to lease some additional space at 1517 Mitchell Drive.

We always had envisioned training lots of local athletes across multiple sports in a one stop facility. The vision began to expand and grow each year as the youth travel sports environment began to change. ESP quickly realized was a huge opportunity to not only train athletes, but to have dedicated ESP Teams.

In 2012, ESP decided to create its first youth team after a pilot project with a college exposure team in 2010-2011 and again in partnership with the Northern Illinois Reds College Exposure team in 2012. In January 2014, ESP Management decided to split the operations in two distinct buildings at 2050 Mitchell Drive (where Macey Brooks' ESP Training business remained) and the Baseball/Softball oriented 1513-1517 Mitchell Drive facility.

Since 2014, the Baseball/Softball business continues to flourish impacting hundreds of kids each years. We have maximized our teams at 25 per year since 2016 after a controlled growth period between 2012-2015. Owning the building and having state-of-the-equipment has greatly enhanced the ESP experience for not only its own players, but for all athletes that train with us.

Our unique partnership with Joe Yager and Macey Brooks (moved to our building in April of 2018) continues to provide the one stop shop training facility for our athletes of all ages. Our superior training led by Kevin Sullivan, Mike Trimarco, Sammy Hall and the rest of the ESP staff makes ESP a destination stop for training kids from as far away as Wisconsin and Indiana.

We are excited about the continued future growth of ESP, we would like to thank the community for their support and all the people who have believed in us since Day 1. Please continue to help us shape the future of all #ESPTrained athletes beginning our 2nd decade in 2019!
